01What kind of projects do you take on?
Nexus Studio is a design studio specialising in the spaces where a brand meets its customers: pop-up stores, shop-in-shops and department store corners, boutiques and flagships. We work mainly with watchmaking, fashion and events, between Switzerland and Southeast Asian markets.
02Do you work in Switzerland and Southeast Asia?
Yes, it's our home ground. The studio is based between Zurich and Bangkok and relies on a network of local partners in each market. We support Swiss brands opening in Southeast Asia, as well as brands rolling out one concept from one country to the next.
03Who builds the spaces you design?
We design, our local partners build. Joiners, shopfitters, contractors: we select them on site for their craftsmanship and knowledge of the market, then coordinate the work through to handover. You keep one point of contact, from first idea to opening.
04How long does it take to create a pop-up store?
It depends on the floor area, the location and the level of customisation. We plan backwards from your opening date, together with our fabrication partners on site: the earlier you get in touch, the more time we have for design and fabrication.
05Can you meet the requirements of a department store or shopping centre?
It's a big part of our work. We prepare the submissions required by the host retailer or landlord, and our local partners know the technical and safety rules of each market: your space complies with them, without compromising your brand identity.
06How does a collaboration begin?
With a discovery call: we talk about your brand, your goals and the location. We then come back to you with an initial direction, a tailored proposal and, depending on the market, the local partners who will build the project.
